Former President Dr. Joyce Banda, JB as fondly called, has called on African leaders to invest in women and youth as one way of combating the prevailing economic migration in the continent.
She has made the plea today in Daresalaam, Tanzania where she is attending the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTCA) Conference on Women and Youth.

Banda believes advancement of the flagship AfCFTA project is a catalyst for successful implementation of the Agenda 2063.
Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu opened the conference taking place at the Julius Nyerere International Conference Centre under the theme: Women and Youth: The Engine to AfCFTA Trade in Africa.
