Press Trust has handed over a maternity wing at Malembo Health Centre in Lilongwe district which has been constructed at a cost of K160 million.
One of the board of trustees Audrey Mwala said infrastructure development is part of K10 billion which they have set aside to improve infrastructure in the health sector.
Mwala has urged community members to guard against theft and vandalism and ensure that it provides care and support to the next generation.

Secretary for Health Charles Mwamsambo has hailed Press Trust for its continued support toward the health sector as it strives to improve domestic financing for various interventions.
Malembo Health centre supports a population of 28, 000 people.
