The Malawi Men’s Darts National Team has arrived in Eswatini with confidence and determination for a strong performance at the Region 5 Games.
According to Kelvin Nyirenda, Media Committee Member of the Darts Association of Malawi (DAM), the team is upbeat about their chances, citing thorough preparations leading up to the tournament.
The darts fraternity in Malawi is eagerly awaiting the team’s results, with high expectations that they will claim the championship this time around.
The team has previously finished as runners-up twice and DAM President, Joe Zangazanga has expressed optimism about a grand comeback in earlier interviews.
The squad boasts experienced players, including Marcel Kasambara, Joe Zangazanga, Thoko Tembo, and Rogers Zako.
However, they will face stiff competition from opposing countries, such as Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
