On Tuesday, September 10, 2024: MIKA Greenland, a long-time partner of Silver Strikers, presented plots to the team’s Player of the Month winners for their outstanding performances this season.
The partnership between MIKA Greenland and Silver Strikers was renewed this season to award two players with plots as a motivational gesture.
Binwell Katinji and George Chikooka, who won the Player of the Month accolades in April and May respectively, received 15 by 30 meters pieces of land.
Additionally, Mario Pemphero from Nanjiri, the winner of the Banker Pa Khomo Promotion, also received a plot. Chikondi Kamanga and Tatenda M’balaka, who won the Player of the Month award last season, were also presented with their plots.
Kenneth Ndagha Ng’ambi, Group Sales and Marketing Manager at MIKA Greenland, expressed pride in the partnership with Silver Strikers, stating, “We believe that we are a winning brand that needs to work together with a winning team. We are excited to have fulfilled our part of the agreement by presenting five plots to Silver Strikers to outstanding players and supporters who won in a raffle draw.”
Gift Gunde, Finance and Accounts Officer at Silver Strikers, commended MIKA Greenland for fulfilling their agreement. “The introduction of the Player of the Month award has brought motivation among the players, and seeing them receive their plots is exciting. We expect this award to fuel our players to keep up the momentum until the end of the season.”
Currently, Charles Chipala, Stanie Davie, and McDonald Lameck have been nominated for the August MIKA Greenland Player of the Month award.
