UNIMA law enforcement and human resource management society welcomes first year students

The University of Malawi’s Law Enforcement and Human Resource Management Society hosted a warm welcoming party for first-year students at the university’s Little Theater this evening.

The Society’s President, Chisoni Anderson delivered an enthusiastic speech, encouraging unity and peace among students.

“We are here whenever you need assistance,” Anderson emphasized.

The society’s patron, Chikosa Banda advised the newcomers to prioritize academics over social life. He also addressed the criticisms law enforcement students often face on campus.

“Don’t be discouraged when people say ‘ndiwe wapolisi chabe’ – they’re just envious of you.”

The event featured games, dances, activities, interaction, and refreshments.
