The 2024 Simso-Mzuzu 12 Northern Region Premier League has reached a thrilling juncture, with Songwe Border United emerging as leaders after the first phase.
Despite suffering two losses, the bordermen secured five victories and no draw, accumulating 15 points.
As the league enters its second phase, Songwe Border United’s consistency will be crucial in cementing their championship ambitions and potential promotion to the TNM Super League.
With Jenda United and Chintheche United hot on their heels, Songwe Border United if maintained their momentum to stay ahead. Police side, Eagle Strikers will also seek to climb the rankings.
The battle for dominance in the Northern Region Premier League continues but a million dollar question follows; “Will Songwe Border United hold onto their lead, or will challengers rise to the top?”
