MCP agents spread falsehoods to divide opposition

Recent claims suggesting that the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is engaging in a “shopping spree” to buy off leadership from the United Transformation Movement (UTM) are nothing but a fabrication perpetuated by Malawi Congress Party (MCP) agents. These baseless allegations aim to create confusion within the opposition and distract from the real issues at hand.

Sources close to the DPP have dismissed these claims as a desperate attempt by the MCP to discredit the opposition. “It’s a classic case of MCP trying to divide and conquer,” said a senior DPP official. “They’re spreading these lies to create tension between the DPP and UTM, but it won’t work.”
