Political activist Bon Kalindo, says the 16th September, 2025 elections are not about winning but total liberation of the country from the hands of destroyers who are doing everything possible to remain in government to continue destroying the country.
Kalindo said the country is on fire, prices of maize have gone up at nobody’s care, Malawians are suffering and this hunger has exceeded that of 1949, 1981 and 2001, people have no hope for a better tomorrow.
He said all the challenges the country is passing through, is because the country has a leader who sees nothing, and does noting saying his servant leadership is just on paper not on the ground, the good reasons making him not to listen to the cries of the suffering Malawians.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has urged the suffering Malawians to go to the polls on the 16th September, 2025 elections and write enough is enough with President Chakwera on the ballot with no mercy that he should not bunce back into government.
Kalindo has claimed that Malawi is a rotten country under the leadership of President Chakwera claiming that his lieutenants are busy in the villages across the country buying voter registration certificates for President Chakwera’s victory.
Kalindo said all the buying of voter registration certificates is being done with the Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) just watching because this is being done by a political party in government which is at liberty to be distributing cash to the electorate.
He said the free for all money has made the MCP paying K10 million to presidential candidates who can in no way pay that non-refundable amount to Mec claiming that even some running mates do not know what their party manifestos are meaning that they were just picked to present nomination papers.
The activist has claimed that opposition parties DPP, UTM, and PP are the only ones that paid their own K10 million while the others, have used MCP money sourced from taxpayers’ money questioning them why wasting the K10 million?
He said the recent released Institute of Public Opinion and Research (IPOR) survey has put Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika with 43 percent win of the 16th September, 2025 elections saying on the other side, the MCP is disputing the survey as not reflecting the truth on the ground.
“The better the MCP can do is to conduct their own survey and tell Malawians the results, instead of praising their own initiated development projects, there are busy attacking and insulting Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika’s running mate Dr. Jane Ansah,” said Kalindo.
He said the skyrocketing prices of essential goods Malawians are experiencing every time they enters shops are not because of Professor Mutharika and Justice Dr. Jane Ansah observing that this has come because of failed leadership in President Chakwera.
“Concentrate with issue-based campaign for Malawians to vote for the MCP, Malawians have already made their informed choice to vote out President Chakwera on the 16th September, 2025 elections,” said Kalindo.
