Political activist Bon Kalindo, has called for the arrest of all suspected DPP members who went to the MBC in Blantyre to harass MBC Director General Mr. George Kasakula, dragging him out of his office to apologize to Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and his wife Getrude Mutharika.
Kalindo said terrorizing national TV and radio is treason claiming that these DPP members have committed treason and as such they need to be arrested and prosecuted for exposing the country that there is lawlessness.
He has described what these DPP members have done to MBC Director General Kasakula as stupidity at its best advising the DPP to do its politics differently from what the MCP was doing where pangas were the order of the day in terrorizing people.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has reminded the DPP that MCP is out of power today for its carelessness in not taming its youth that grew more powerful than the country’s police and Malawi Defense Force (MDF).
Kalindo has warned the DPP that if care is not made to tame their youth, 2030 is not too far, they will be shown the exit door which the MCP is still not believing that they are out of government for letting evil growing under their watch.
He has praised President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika’s speech which was made at his inauguration ceremony as the best on the land that he wants the new DPP to govern the country in the interest of all regardless of political party affiliations.
The activist said Professor Mutharika has a good vision for Malawi advising DPP members and supporters to follow the path as that of the president for Malawi to move a step forward and not to be at a roundabout as evidenced with the MCP reign.
“Do politics of civilized and not savagery politics for Malawians to see the difference that they have done away with politics of terrorism and intimidations,” said Kalindo.
He said if he was George Kasakula, he would have tendered in his resignation on the same day but he cannot do this because he signed another 3 years contract with MBC to 2027 during the transition period of handing over power from MCP to DPP.
Kalindo said transition period cannot work in Malawi observing that a lot of mess has taken place in Malawi such as Kamuzu Palace and other state lodges destroyed and MCP planting its Chief Executive Officers through 3 year’s contracts with the agenda of destroying the DPP.
And in news just in, Police in Blantyre have arrested two men Yona Green Malunga and Stone Mwamadi suspected to have been in a group of five that went to MBC on Friday to force MBC Director General George Kasakula to apologize in front of the cameras to President Professor Mutharika and his wife Getrude Mutharika,
