Minister of State in the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) who is also DPP Vice President for the centre Hon. Alfred Gangata, has warned some senior members of the DPP against deceiving President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika that running government needs professionals.
Gangata’s warning has coincided with another warning from social media influencer Julius Zimwanda Mithi of JFM news who advised the DPP to know who suffered for them that doing something nonsense as one of the Accountant General, he is ready to finish them.
First to sound the warning bell was Comrade Ntanyiwa of Limpopo FM online radio station who alerted DPP members that there are some individuals who are going to President Professor Mutharika to deceive him that they are the ones who made him and the DPP to be in government.
Comrade Ntanyiwa said it was the wish of Professor Mutharika that 2 to 3 people from each district across the country be taken to work at the State Lodges but one minister has presented 30 names all from Thyolo district alone.
He warned these individuals going to Professor Mutharika to deceive him that he will expose them if they don’t stop what they are doing claiming that Professor Mutharika was voted into government by all Malawians including MCP members.
The activist reported to Malawians that it pleased President Professor Mutharika to send a small gift to Comrade Ntanyiwa and the whole Limpopo FM crew but that gift was held by a cabinet minister on the claims that Ntanyiwa has been speaking against him hence no need to give him a gift.
Speaking at Chilimampunga ground in Mtandire- Lilongwe on Sunday, Hon. Gangata said time has now come for those who sacrificed to die for the liberation of the country from MCP and President Chakwera to enjoy the fruits of a government they courageously fought for.
Gangata said there were people who stood courageously hacked and terrorized by MCP thugs but they were not shaken ready to die until their country is liberated from the jaws of the MCP saying these ones should be the first priority to be considered in sharing the cake.
He claimed that the said professionals were not there during the DPP campaign trails and some of them ran away afraid of being hacked by MCP panga wielding thugs and today, they are being considered to eat the meat as well-qualified people to run government of the DPP.
“Chinthu ichi tinachivutikila, some us were hacked, terrorized, minibus torched, arrested, where were these professionals when we were being hacked by MCP panga wielding thugs? Questioned Gangata.
He warned fellow senior members of the DPP that if they continue deceiving Professor Mutharika on professionals, he will send his strong youth to drag them out of their respective offices for those who fought courageously for the DPP to be in government today, to occupy the offices.
