The Chisa Children, Youth and Community Development Organization (CCYCDO) has reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive community development by visiting persons with disabilities in Mitawa Village, under Traditional Authority Haji in Chiradzulu District.
The visit focused on strengthening relationships and promoting inclusion as part of the organization’s broader mission to improve the welfare of vulnerable groups within communities.

During the outreach, CCYCDO representatives visited Asiyawo Molande and Emmah Patrick, engaging with them and their families to better understand their day-to-day challenges and explore ways the organization can offer meaningful support.

Speaking after the visit, CCYCDO members emphasized that community development cannot be fully achieved without recognizing and uplifting persons with disabilities.

They highlighted the importance of compassion, inclusion, and continued engagement in building resilient and supportive communities.

The organization noted that such visits are not only about providing assistance but also about strengthening bonds, promoting dignity, and ensuring that no one is left behind in development efforts.

CCYCDO has pledged to continue conducting similar outreach activities across Chiradzulu, Balaka and Chikwawa where the organization is currently operating. Apart from community development activities CCYCDO is also providing free nursery education in rural areas and empower the youth to shape their future ideas.
