By Suleman Chitera Oct21,2022

One of the leading commercial banks in Malawi, First Capital Bank-FCB says it is geared at ensuring that its customers use ATM cards and keep a maximum of K20,000 in their accounts.

This follows the draw that was conducted during the K5 million Ipite Draw held at its Head Office in the commercial city, Blantyre.

Two people won K1 million, the other two, K500, 000 and six others, cellphones.

FCB Head of Marketing Twikale Chirwa says they will continue conducting such draws as one way of encouraging their customers to be part of the bank through savings and use of ATM cards.

“Close to one million people entered the competition out of the 36,000 customers,” he said.

During the event, FCB also donated K3.5 million towards Stroke Support Organisation in an effort to deal with the vice.

“We will continue with corporate social responsibility,” Chirwa added.
