Reunion Insurance aid towards Sorry to my mother movie premier

As a mode of supporting film industries in Malawi, the Reunion Insurance company of Malawi has pumped in K500.000 support towards the premiership of ‘ Sorry to my mother’ a movie by a Malawian Lilongwe based actor.

The reunion Insurance company of Malawi, Regional Manager Madalitso Kamberengende disclosed in an interview that Reunion Insurance being a Malawian company thought of supporting with monetary aid amounting to MK500.000 towards a fellow Malawian film as a way of promoting them.

“It has been long time that Malawians have been watching films from other countries like Nigeria films. So when they approached us, we thought this is our opportunity to help our fellow Malawian because the Malawians also help us by giving us business.” Kamberengende said.

The producer of the movie, a Lilongwe based Actor Brazio Mathias Kanyong’o was grateful with the aid made by Reunion Insurance.

He said the support has come at the right time when the film company is in dire need of support.

“We are very thankful for the support, it has come at the right time when we are financially sturving as a film industry. We also request other companies and other well wishers to emulate what Reunion has done.” Kanyongo explained.

Sorry to my mother movie has been creatively produced by Magic Promotions Company and it has been filmed by John Nguluwe and directed by Alex Chilambe.

The official premiership of the movie will be on 29th April 2022 at Golden Peacock Hotel in Lilongwe.

The Reunion Insurance Company offers diversity of insurance products in all its offices across all regions of Malawi.

Among others products includes house owner, motorbikes, fire for the industrial factories, burgalary Insurance as well as workers compensation.
