Silver Strikers Football Club have secured a season-long partnership with Malawi Catering Services, which will provide bottled water to the club under its Morning Dew brand.
The partnership was unveiled on Tuesday at the Malawi Catering Services offices at Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe.
Speaking during the ceremony, Malawi Catering Services General Manager Davie Kampeni said the company decided to support Silver Strikers after receiving a proposal from the club.
Kampeni said the club made a convincing case for the partnership, adding that Malawi Catering Services was pleased to respond positively to the request.
“People might ask why Silver Strikers? They asked for assistance. They recognise Morning Dew and wrote a good proposal, and we did not hesitate to respond,” he said.
Silver Strikers Business Development Manager Uthenji Kayambo Nyanda expressed appreciation to Malawi Catering Services for recognising the value of the club and supporting its activities throughout the season.
“We thank you for recognising the strength and value of Silver Strikers,” Nyanda said.
She also called on supporters of the club to support the partnership by choosing Morning Dew bottled water.
“To Silver Strikers fans, we urge you to buy Morning Dew bottled water,” she said.
The partnership is expected to provide Silver Strikers with a reliable supply of bottled water as the club competes throughout the season, while also giving Morning Dew greater visibility among the club’s supporters and football followers.
