South African Driver Arrested For Transporting 112 bags Of Chamba

A South African driver has been arrested in Dedza for being found in possession of 112 bags of suspected indian hemp- Chamba .

Dedza police assistant spokesperson, Beatrice Jefita, says Trust Hlengeni Masingi, 45, had carried 112 bags in 50 kilograms bags and five hundred and fifty bags of rice husks in his 30 tonner Scania vehicle .

Jefita said the bags are being kept at Dedza police station as police prepare to take the suspect to court soon.
