Mighty Wanderers Signed 175 million Mukuru Sponsorship

Mukuru, an international money transfer has today finally signed a sponsorship 175 million kwacha per year contract with league side Mighty Wanderers. Through the sponsorship, the company takes over the naming rights and the team will subsequently be known as Mighty Mukuru Wanderers. FAM President Walter Nyamilandu has since described the sponsorship as a milestone on Malawi football. On his part, Richard Chimwendo, Minister of Sports has said government fully reckons the support from the corporate world on local football.
