Police have warned people who rely on illegal practices for survival that the law shall take its course once found.
Speaking with MBC, Public Relations Officer, for Jenda Police Station in Mzimba District, Alfred Lucio, sounded the warning following the arrest of 55-year-old Misheck Botha, who was found in possession of nine pieces of ivory at Jenda Trading Center.
Lucio said the suspect was selling the ivory for over K4 million and he is expected to appear before court soon.
Botha hails from Ntola Village, Traditional Authority Mphamba, Lundazi in Zambia.
