Human rights advocates have said continued corrupt practices are affecting service delivery in district councils.
The remarks follow the suspension of the recruitment processes of enumerators in Ntchisi, Dowa and Chiradzulu districts by the Anti Corruption Bureau over alleged corrupt acts.
Earlier, Principal Public Relations Officer for ACB, Egrita Ndala told MIJ Online that the Bureau suspended the recruitment of enumerators for the 2023 Unified Beneficiary Registry exercise after it had received reports of irregularities in the process.
Micheal Kayiyatsa a human rights advocate said the status quo is giving room to incompetent people to be employed hence negatively impacting service delivery by the councils
