Dear ,Dr Dalitso Kabambe I salute you.
You know it too well that Leadership is a torch passed from one visionary to another, and today, we celebrate your rise as the newly elected President of the United Transformation Movement (UTM).
While the tragic passing of Dr. Saulos Chilima in a plane crash has left an indelible void, your appointment rekindles a flame of hope in the hearts of many.
Dr. Chilima, the founding father of UTM, was a man of vision and vigor, whose commitment to transforming the nation’s destiny was unwavering.
His legacy, deeply rooted in courage and innovation, casts a shadow too great for any ordinary leader to fill.
But as our African proverb teaches us, “When the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind.” You have inherited movement nurtured by resilience and fueled by dreams of progress.
I offer this advice to you dr kabambe with wisdom drawn from the echoes of history you are free to save this in your presidential diary
I say to you Pick up the spear of the late Dr. Chilima and march forward with unwavering resolve.
Serve the UTM and the nation selflessly, for leadership is not about fulfilling personal desires but about being a custodian of the people’s hopes and dreams.
Never ambush the UTM, nor allow others to do so, for betrayal to the movement is betrayal to the people.
The spirit of Dr. Chilima—undaunted and unyielding—will surely rise to hold accountable anyone who seeks to derail the mission.
As the saying goes, “The one who destroys the bridge they cross will one day find no way back.”
Dr. Kabambe, your expertise in economics is a pillar of strength, but it is not the only tool you will need.
True leadership requires humility, empathy, and a deep understanding of political landscapes.
Enter the realm of politics as a learner, not as one with all the answers. For, “The wise man learns from the counsel of others, while the fool believes he knows it all.”
In blending your economic acumen with a spirit of political growth, you have the potential to be a leader who unites the hearts and minds—a statesman beloved by many.
Let your journey be guided by the principles of justice, service, and innovation, for these are the foundations upon which enduring legacies are built.
Become a tolerant nurse to UTM family and the nation and look to the future, people shall stand behind you don’t be a kind of nurse who harrass our pregnant mothers and sisters in the collidors of our hospitals and clinics.
Lead the party with integrity, courage, and a commitment to progress, and you will find the strength of an entire movement behind you.
“The path to greatness is paved with service to others.” Let this be your compass as you take on this monumental responsibility.
Congratulations, and may your leadership bring prosperity and unity to UTM and to the nation as a whole.
