Pastor Shumba urges church leaders to side with the suffering Malawians

By Vincent Gunde

Rights activist Pastor Moses Shumba-the Lion of Judah, has urged church leaders in Malawi to side with their congregations not politicians claiming that some politicians want to use them as weapons to advance their political agendas.

Pastor Shumba has encouraged church leaders who are being used by politicians to leave the job of preaching to the poor people for them to enter God’s Kingdom other than turning them from their rights to know and speak nothing but the truth.

He said for those who wants to get into active politics, they should be free to do so, their congregations will support the intelligent decisions reached for sanity to prevail in the church as the country is geared to conduct the 2025 elections.

Speaking through an audio clip, Pastor Shumba said the church should be in the forefront speaking against government on policies that in the end will harm the citizens not in the forefront forcing their congregations to contrary things because them have received money from politicians.

Pastor Shumba said he was shocked to see government leaders meeting church leaders belonging to Pastors Fraternals with a message of encouraging their congregations to support President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to fulfill what he started in his five years mandate in government.

He has claimed that Minister of Information Moses Kunkuyu, Presidential advisors on Religious Affairs Reverend Brian Kamwendo and Sheikh Abasi re on record having told church leaders in Lilongwe to preach to their congregations for Chakwera to bounce back into government in September, 2025.

The Pastor said church leaders are being promised NEEF Loans and other allowances on the claims that most of them are poor, and the loans will change their lives to the better than before and what is paramount is for them to go and vote for President Chakwera for the country to be safe.

“Government lying to its people, the church preaching lies from government, were we ordained to preach lies because government has asked us to do so? Questioned tv
And in another related development, Political activist Bon Kalindo has accused Minister of Information Moses Kunkuyu, Presidential advisors Reverend Brian Kamwendo and Sheikh Abasi of meeting church leaders in Mchesi-Lilongwe not to listen and allowing him and Sylvester Namiwa of CDEDI to enter their churches because they are Satanic.

Kalindo has advised Kunkuyu, Reverend Kamwendo and Sheikh Abasi that they corrupt all the church leaders in Malawi with money but their members have already made up their mind not to vote for President Chakwera to come back in September, 2025.
