Jumbe declares his 16th September,2025 presidential candidacy

President of Chilungamo Party Comrade Alhaji Imraan Jumbe, has announced his candidacy for 16th September, 2025 with a call for Malawians to rise above mediocrity and demand a government that serves its people with vision, competence and integrity.

Jumbe says his decision to join the race for the presidency is not driven by personal ambition but by a deep-seated love for the country and an unshakable belief in its potential observing that the country stands at a crossroads.

He says, for too long, Malawians have witnessed stagnant, mismanagement, and a lack of visionary leadership saying Malawi, a land of untapped potential has been reduced to an autopilot nation, people are sleeping in long queues for fuel, gripped by desperation and frustration.

Writing on his face book page, Jumbe says the MCP has failed to steer the country towards progress, instead, the government is operating like a poorly run shop, reacting only when crises arise-a nation on autopilot.

Jumbe says he strongly believe that this country needs fresh ideological thinking and new faces at the helm of power saying Malawians cannot afford to recycle old ideas and expect different results, the journey to economic transformation begins with bold leadership.

He has assured Malawians that he will open a new chapter in the history in the history of Malawi, a chapter where the people are the true custodians of power proving leadership that is unafraid to challenge the status quo and chart a new course for the nation.

“Under my leadership, we will prioritize economic transformation, self-reliance and accountability, we will put an end to the culture of impunity and ensure that government resources are managed efficiently and investing in sustainable development,” says Jumbe.

He has urged all Malawians to reflect deeply on the state of the nation as they approach the September, 2025 elections advising all that this is not just an election, it is a battle for the soul of Malawi saying Malawians cannot afford to sit on the sidelines and hope for change.

Jumbe has finally urged Malawians to rise together and turn the vison into reality saying the future of Malawi begins now, together they can make it possible by demanding it, fight for it and work for it, change is coming in September, 2025.
