In less than a month in office, Minister of Finance Joseph Mwanamveka has already secured an impressive 150 billion kwacha in free international aid—no loans, just pure support from global partners.

Countries and organizations around the world are showing their confidence in Malawi’s new leadership under President APM:

Britain: $5.3 million

Norway: $4.5 million

United States: $17.5 million

Japan: $3.7 million

World Bank: $45 million

China: $3 million

IFAD: $3 million

Switzerland and Ireland also contributed generously

Donors have expressed their excitement over APM’s leadership, pledging continued assistance to ensure Malawians are protected from hunger and poverty.

With such strong international backing, Malawi is poised for economic growth and stability. The future is bright, and history is watching.
