MAFCO FC delivered a strong performance on Sunday as they defeated Mponela FC 3-1 in a friendly match played at Champion Ground in Mponela, Dowa District, signaling their readiness for the upcoming FDH Bank Premiership season.

Mponela FC, however, showed resilience and managed to pull one goal back in the 20th minute of the first half through Laston Pingeni, briefly raising hopes for the home side. Despite their efforts, they struggled to contain MAFCO’s attacking pressure for the remainder of the match.
