President Lazarus Chakwera says he will lobby for China’s support towards Malawi’s debt restructuring plan to improve the country’s debt sustainability.
He spoke this at the Kamuzu International Airport before leaving for the 3rd China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo taking place in China from Thursday to July 2.
“We will seek cooperation on a number of issues including medical and health, poverty reduction and agricultural development, trade promotion, investment promotion, digital innovation, green development, capacity building, cultural and people-to-people exchange, peace and security,” says Chakwera.
