Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the Eastern Region, Bright Msaka SC, was among the notable figures who attended the Mulhakho wa Alhomwe annual festival held in Chonde, Mulanje. The festival, a major cultural event for the Lhomwe people, attracted thousands of attendees and key political figures from across the country.
Msaka’s presence at the festival underscored the DPP’s continued support for the Lhomwe community and its cultural heritage. During the event, Msaka interacted with the festival-goers, paying tribute to the importance of the Mulhakho wa Alhomwe in preserving Lhomwe traditions and fostering unity among the people.
