Muluzi To announce an alliance

Honorable Atupele Muluzi, President of the United Democratic Front (UDF), is anticipated to declare his political stance ahead of the tripartite elections scheduled for September 16.

Muluzi has communicated this through his official Facebook page, indicating that he will make a significant announcement to the nation at exactly 9pm tonight

Although the content of the announcement remains undisclosed, sources close to Muluzi suggest that he is expected to provide direction on the alliance strategy for the UDF.

Previously, Muluzi formed an electoral alliance with Professor Peter Muthalika, leader of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), during the 2020 presidential elections, which proved unsuccessful.
