Political activist Bon Kalindo has advised Dr. Michael Usi to leave the UTM alone arguing that he is not a member of the and UTM speaking anything for UTM will portray a picture that he is still UTM while he is Odyazake alibe Mulandu.
Kalindo said Dr. Usi has launched his own Odyazake alibe mulandu party advising him to concentrate on his party’s political ideologies and speaking nothing of the UTM saying if he does this, Malawians will fully respect him that he is doing matured politics.
He said he was shocked by Dr. Usi statement made during the launch of Odyazake alibe mulandu party in Lilongwe that in the UTM there were two people who had the love of Dr. Saulosi Chilima from deep down their hearts questioning Dr. Usi what side was he?
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo said if there were two people who loved Chilima in the UTM khwesi Msusa and Newton Kambala saying this statement lone, is clearly speaking for itself that not many people loved Dr. Chilima including Dr. Usi.
Kalindo has expressed his deep concern about UTM colours being displayed at the Odyazake alibe mulandu party observing that Dr. Usi designed deliberately the colors of the UTM to confuse members of the UTM for no difference with those of Odyazake Mulandu.
“Speaking something for UTM is the same as going back to a wife or husband whose marriage ended,” he said.
Kalindo has wished Dr. Michael Usi all the best for launching Odyazake alibe mulandu Party saying this has fulfilled his prophecy he made in January, 2025 that he sees a man walking out of the UTM to form his own political party.
And in another news, Kalindo has accused the MCP led government of creating hunger in Malawi wondering what beneficiaries of the Affordable Input Programme (AIP) benefiting from fertilizers the MCP is distributing in the month of April when harvesting is under way from the gardens.
He has claimed that in the areas of Traditional Authority M’biza in Zomba, clever village heads are going door to door taking K10,000 for those who will be redeeming two bags of fertilizers and at the distribution centre, beneficiaries are being asked to pay additional money.
The activist said this alone is proving that some clever chiefs in a government which is being run by mafias, are pocketing money from the poor people defeating all efforts that the MCP government would be selling a bag of fertilizer at a cheaper price.
