President Chakwera has emphasized the need to uphold Malawi’s diplomatic relationship with the nation of Israel, highlighting the importance of maintaining strong international ties.
He also called for the protection and fair treatment of local nurses working in that country, stressing that their welfare must be safeguarded.
The President strongly condemned tribalism in politics and all other sectors of society, warning that such divisions threaten the unity and progress of the nation.

He urged Malawians to refrain from deliberately provoking or mistreating others based on tribal or regional lines.
Chakwera expressed deep concern over the violent incidents that occurred in Mponela yesterday, stating that such actions are unacceptable.
He warned that these acts of violence are detrimental to the peace and development of Malawi, and must be brought to an end.
