A concerned citizen of Malawi Mrs. Elizabeth Kaliza Banda of Area 51 in Lilongwe, says Malawians are regretting to have President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his MCP ruling the country describing their five years stay in government as slavery- not ruling human beings but wild animals.
Kaliza Banda said President Chakwera has left to Malawians no legacy worth to be President of the Republic of Malawi saying the way he has ruled Malawi for five years, has spoken of him that he was the worst President Malawians have ever had since the dawn of multiparty politics and democracy in Malawi in 1994.
She said President Chakwera was just a President who knows and did nothing in government, he was an inexperienced President who has driven the country to the destruction both economically and governance hence nothing to write about him.
The citizen said he doesn’t understand why some people in the MCP are busy preparing him to lead the party as their presidential candidate in the 2030 elections questioning the MCP that are there no capable people worth to be president of their party apart from Chakwera?
She said what has been exposed at Greenbelt Authority and NEEF that billions and billions of Kwachas were shared among top MCP officials and other senior government officials, is just a tip of an iceberg that Malawi is a rotten country, Chakwera’s hands has contributed to this in one way or another.
Kaliza Banda has expressed her deep concern over State House allocation of K67 billion which was spent in just five months to the 16th September, 2025 elections and they continued to terrorize Greenbelt Authority and NEEF loans questioning the Chakwera family that how are they feeling with all of what has been exposed?
She has called on Parliament to establish a special court for corruption related cases so that all who have abused taxpayers money dance to their music including President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his children for taking Malawi as their personal estate.
” Billions and billions of NEEF loans entering into one family of Chakwera alone, the loans which could have benefited women selling mandasi and bananas in basins, you are a shame to the nation,” said Kaliza Banda.
She said President Chakwera will be the second President of Malawi to be arrested and prosecuted in a court of law for abuse of office after Dr. Bakili Muluzi whose K1.7 billion corruption case was discontinued for no evidence after 14 years of trial.
Kaliza Banda said the day President Chakwera would be arrested for abuse of office will mark the second Chapter in Malawi that no one is above the law and Malawians are praying for that day to come so that justice be seen to the president who has played with the souls of innocent people crying to him for five years but he did not listen to their cries.
Kaliza Banda has finally urged Malawians who have sailed through pain and sufferings, eating wild bushes ( chitedze) as food for survival for five years in the hands of this cruel President Chakwera, to kneel down their feet on the floor and pray to God that the devil is finally out and will not come back as president of the country and if he is to come back, may be a Ward councilor at his home in Kasiya- Lilongwe.
