Kashoti said Malawi is in crisis today but this crisis is not new, it is a direct consequence of reckless governance, economic vandalism, and systematic looting under the MCP administration.
He said the same MCP that is today pretending to be a voice of concern , is the architect of the collapse they now seek to politicize.

Writing on his Facebook page, Kashoti said Professor Mutharika is not a man who governs by ultimatums, threats, or political blackmail, he remains unshaken, resolute and firmly in control, despite a hollow 48 hour ultimatum issued by officials from the MCP during a media conference in Lilongwe.

Kashoti said Professor Mutharika inherited an economy on life support with depleted reserves at the central bank – a problem worsened under Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, saying instead of stabilizing the economy, the Chakwera administration drove it deeper into crisis through incompetence, poor judgment, and reckless experimentation.

He said now having presided over one of the most painful economic declines in recent history, the MCP wants to posture as saviours, they are pretending as if they have answers urging them to present them to government and stop insulting the intelligence of Malawians with empty ultimatums and recycled rhetoric observing that leadership is not noise, leadership is responsibility.

The propagandist said in contrast, President Professor Mutharika is doing the real work quietly, deliberately, and decisively, no empty slogans, and desperate attempts to score political points.
He said even in opposition voices such as Dr. Dalitso Kabambe and Atupele Muluzi, have demonstrated maturity – criticizing where necessary but also offering alternatives.

“Kabambe and Muluzi have demonstrated what responsible politics looks like, no threats, no ultimatums, and not propagandas,” reads Kashoti’s writings on the wall.
He said Malawi is standing at a critical crossroads, this is not the time for those who broke the system to pretend they can fix it saying Professor Mutharika will not be distracted, he will not be lectured by those who drove this country into the bush.
