Agriculture Specialist Backs Admarc to Purchase Vehicle for The CEO

An agriculture specialist is backing the decision by ADMARC management to purchase a 107 Million Kwacha vehicle for its CEO Rhino Chiphiko.

ADMARC board members are questioning management over the purchase of the multi-million kwacha Nissan Patrol vehicle when the corporation is struggling financially.

ADMARC board Chairperson Alexander Kusamba Dzonzi reveals that the vehicle procurement process was done without the board’s approval.

The move has received a lot of backlash in the public domain as they deem the decision as plunder of public resources.

Meanwhile, an investigation has been instituted over the procurement of the vehicle.

But an agriculture specialist at the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources-LUANAR Horace Phiri, argues that the amount in question is not enough to bail out ADMARC.
