President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has arrived at Nsangwe Community Ground in Traditional Authority Ngabu in Chikwawa for a development rally after touring development projects in the district earlier today.
The Malawi leader inspected the progress of the Shire Valley Transformation Programme and Kapichira Hydro Power Station which were destroyed by Tropical Cyclone Ana and Gombe early this year.
He also visited Illovo Sugar Estate.
Dr Chakwera in his brief interview said he was impressed with the progress of the projects which he said are crucial to the development of the country.
