South African Dancer Zodwa Wabantu Stopped Not Perform In Malawi

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Wildlife has stopped a show scheduled for Dominic’s in Blantyre on June 11 2022 featuring controversial South African dancer Zodwa Wabantu.

Minister of Tourism , Culture and Wildlife Michael Usi says the ministry penned the organisers not to go ahead with the event as it was deemed not fit for the country.

One of the organisers of the event Biggie Lu says they are in the process of negotiating with the ministry to make them understand that their client would not perform in her controversial dressing style.

Zodwa Wabantu makes waves for the fact that she performs without wearing underwear. She was banned from performing in Zimbabwe due to the nature of her performances. She was deported in Zambia over similar issues.
