Human rights campaigner, Undule Mwakasungula describes Professional Drivers Union of Malawi-PRODUM's plan of downing tools from tommorow over alleged government's failure to address their grievances, as ill-timed. "This is ill-timed in view that the current fuel crisis has affected the economy It has put the country at a stand still and affected many operations of government, private sector and the general livelihood of Malawians," says Mwakasungula. Nankhumwa Told Focus On Uniting Dpp Before Giving Threats To President Chakwera- Mwakasungula

Human rights and governance commentator Undule Mwakasungula has told Leader of Opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa to focus on uniting the DPP before giving ultimatums and threats to President Lazarus Chakwera. Mwakasungula argues the opposition DDP cannot and will not be an alternative to the current problems the country is facing now. He says the DPP is currently struggling with leadership fights, bickering and divisions within and that Nankhumwa must act and speak as Leader ofopposition and not as some leaders of Civil Society groupings who have been calling for ultimatums day and night with no direction.
