Silver Strikers FC have been crowned the 2024 TNM Super League Champions, courtesy of their hard-fought 1-0 victory over second-placed Mighty Mukuru Wanderers at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
The match was a tightly contested affair, with both teams creating scoring opportunities.
However, it was Silver Strikers who finally broke the deadlock in the 53 minute, courtesy of a brilliant strike from MacDonald Lameck.
The goal was a result of a well-crafted move, which saw Innocent Shema deliver a pinpoint lobbed pass to Lameck, who made no mistake in finding the back of the net.
Despite their best efforts, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers were unable to find an equalizer, as Silver Strikers’ defense held firm.
