Social commentator Dr. Samuel Lwara, has advised Malawians not to be clinging to the same people who have failed them for the country to move forward claiming that Malawians are wasting time discussing who to vote for between President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and former President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.
Lwara has questioned Malawians that what is it that Mutharika and Chakwera would bring in to the country if they are voted back into office on 16th September, 2025? Saying Malawians need a government to provide solutions for their country.
He observed that Mutharika and Chakwera have no solutions for the country, they have ruled Malawians and have proved to be failures wondering why some Malawians are wasting their time and energy praying for their bouncing back into government in September, 2025 elections.
Speaking through an audio clip, Lwara has reminded Malawians that in 2014 DPP won the elections with Dr. Saulosi Chilima, the youngest as Vice President of the Republic and he was mistreated the reasons that made him to quit the DPP for the United Transformation Movement (UTM).
Lwara said it is sad that Malawians are pushing for an opposition Alliance for Professor Mutharika to lead the Alliance with Dr. Dalitso Kambambe another youngest, to be the running mate, asking Malawians what is it in Mutharika and what are they seeing?
He said he don’t see a good reason for Dr. Dalitso Kabambe to be the running mate for Professor Mutharika saying if this happens, it will speak for itself that Professor Mutharika is on record as having two youth on his back as running mate, the late Dr. Chilima and Dr. Kabambe.
The commentator has advised the DP to sit down for a young man to lead the Alliance arguing that Dr. Kabambe was there in the DPP and has joined the UTM after the death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima, why not approving his name to lead the Alliance?
“Kabambe is qualified to rule this country, Malawi needs an economist not a politician, we have had enough of these politicians, this time let’s join hands to try an economist in the name of Dr. Kabambe to bail the country out from economic woos,” said Lwara.
He has reminded the MCP that the party came into the government because of the Alliance and President Chakwera has failed to run the Alliance, so too, the government wondering why party members are wasting their time praising “Boma ndilomweli” for the same person who has failed them.
Lwara has finally warned Malawians not to waste their resources to vote for President Chakwera and Professor Mutharika, they have all failed the nation, no need for the two to appear on the ballot, they have nothing to bring for a better Malawi.
