Activist and Executive Director of the Malawi Watch- Billy Banda, has pleaded with madam Mary Chilima not to come out of her official residence to Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) for the launch of SKC Foundation.
Banda has appealed to her to love the country and its people that together they joined her in mourning for the tragic death of her husband Dr. Saulosi Chilima with millions of questions than answers and Malawians are still praying for answers.
He has advised her to stay at home and made a directive from there cancelling the function on Wednesday the 12th February, 2025 saying Malawians have learnt with a big shock and dismay that she has made a directive that the function is on, Wednesday.
Speaking through an audio clip, activist Banda said Madam Mary Chilima’s elevenths hour decision can change everything warning her that Malawians are not happy hearing the news that the family has invited President Chakwera to attend the function.
Banda said the government which is being presided over by President Chakwera came through a coup de etat and the same government escorted Dr. Saulosi Chilima to an early grave hence Malawians don’t see any reason of inviting Chakwera to SKC Foundation launch.
The activist has claimed that Malawians are still living with the life of uncertainty, Catholic Bishops do not have answers, Malawians do not have answers and the government itself do not have answers surrounding the death of Dr. Chilima and eight others.
“Millions of Malawians are breaking into tears after learning that SKC Foundation launch is on with President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera in attendance,” said Banda.
He said it would be better for President Chakwera to resign today as he has failed Malawians and was responsible for the death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, claiming that there is a cloud of uncertainty with millions of Kwachas gone unaccounted for, case in point, the death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima.
Activist Banda said President Chakwera is not a trusted person, he is evil and does not deserve to be a Reverend claiming that he cannot go to Chakwera’s church to pray with him saying this is the reason that God is angry with him as President of the Republic of Malawi.
He has finally advised those living close to madam Mary Chilima to advise her to cancel the event of launching SKC Foundation that this war is not for Malawians, this war is for God and God Himself will fight to provide answers.
