Limpopo FM welcomes DPP into electoral Alliance

By Vincent Gunde

An online radio station Limpopo FM, has welcomed the decision reached by the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) that it is ready to join the opposition Alliance describing this as good news Malawians have for all along been waiting to hear.

Limpopo Radio station has advised Dr. George Chaponda, Norman Chisale, Charles Mchacha and Chimwemwe Chipungu to leave Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika alone to engage in discussions with all the opposition parties for the good of the country.

It has said Malawians hope for the liberation of their country is resting in the DPP and Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and they are praying that this Alliance should not be the same as the MCP-UTM alliance which escorted Dr. Saulosi Chilima to an early grave.

The Radio’s Nkhanga zaona producer Comrade Mtanyiwa, said Malawians are putting their trust in the DPP to rescue the country from the hands of the MCP- the party which has brought untold pain and sufferings in the eyes of millions of Malawians.

Comrade Mtanyiwa has praised opposition party leaders such as Dr. Joyce Banda, Atupele Muluzi, Enoch Chihana and Frank Mwenefumbo for listening to millions of patriotic Malawian calls to join the Alliance in the quest to liberate the country which is in the hands of people who cares for themselves not Malawi and its citizens.

He has expressed hope that Dr. Dalitso Kabambe and the United Transformation Movement (UTM) will join Malawian calls to put Malawi first and their interests second claiming that the entire population of Malawi is regretting to have voted for President Chakwera and the MCP into office in June, 2020.

Comrade Mtanyiwa said it is only through the opposition party alliance that can escort the MCP to an early grave for it to not to resurrect anymore saying MCP is a party which cannot change and once it is given another mandate of 5 years, there will be no Malawi.

“Everyone in the country is crying and no one can be happy to see the MCP and President Chakwera bouncing back into government on the 16th September, 2025 elections,” he said.

Comrade Mtanyiwa has asked all opposition party leaders to tell Malawians their stand on the Smartmatic machines and the Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) denying independent auditors to audit the voters roll and actions to be taken.

He has finally appealed to senior members of the DPP to leave the primary elections to the people to choose their representatives by themselves for the losers to accept defeat honorably and the winners to celebrate their victory responsibly.
