80 Ethiopians And Two Malawians Arrested In Karonga

Over 80 Ethiopian nationals and two Malawians have been arrested in Karonga on suspicion that they entered the country illegally and aiding foreigners to enter the country illegally respectively.

Karonga Police Public Station Relations Officer Sergeant George Mulewa has confirmed the development in an interview with Zodiak online Tuesday afternoon.

According to Mulewa, the people were intercepted at Chilumba Barracks checkpoint on their way to the direction of Mzuzu from Songwe border.
