The Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) President, Bouchra Hajij, has urged Raiply Malawi Limited to partner with the Volleyball Association of Malawi (VAM) in hosting a continental tournament.
During her visit to Raiply’s Chikangawa premises, where she planted a memorial tree, Hajij praised the wood industry’s cordial relationship with the volleyball fraternity enabling Raiply’s 14-year sponsorship of volleyball in Malawi.
“Partnerships ease challenges, making achievements more attainable,” Hajij said. “Raiply’s record in hosting continental games won’t be a challenge.”
Hajij emphasized the importance of collaboration in advancing volleyball, citing its potential to boost socio-economic growth.
Raiply Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Krishna Das, assured Hajij of the company’s commitment to supporting volleyball development.
“We remain committed to growing volleyball in the country,” Das said.
Hajij departs Malawi on Sunday, heading to Nairobi, Kenya.
