Nathenje Communities Laud APM’s Governance

Communities in Nathenje are acknowledging President Arthur Peter Mutharika’s government’s efforts in improving Malawi’s development. A Malawi Freedom Network correspondent spoke to locals to gather their views on the government’s performance.

Mr. Anthony Kadongola praised President Mutharika’s leadership, citing reduced violence and effective governance. He commended the recent State of the Nation Address and urged MPs to wisely use the increased Constituency Development Fund.

John Phiri thanked the President for reducing fertilizer prices, boosting food security. He criticized the previous MCP government for procuring fertilizer from un reputable sources. Mrs. Banda, a teacher, praised APM’s governance, noting reduced government spending and availability of fuel and forex.

A parent from Kacheta village said APM is a “messiah” who cares, citing free secondary education and primary school funding as examples. Residents credit APM’s government for positive changes in Malawi.
