A widow, Mrs. Martha Kapheni has told the parliamentary adhoc committee that all the phones for the victims of the tragic plane crash in the Chikangawa forest on Monday, 10th June, 2024 there was none which was in a good condition.
Kanyemba said during the time she was told to go to Area 30 to get property for her beloved husband, she found a broken power bank, a dusty sweater but she didn’t find a mobile phone for her husband.
Kanyemba said she was not given access to view the body of her husband following instructions from government that the body was in decomposed state.
Writing on his face book page, one, Mwai Njunga said after the crashed plane crushed all the phones together with their simcards into pieces, it started tearing clothes, removing shoes and belts of the deceased persons, describing the plane crash as causing a subject of discussion.
Another social media reader has asked Malawians to open their eyes that a plane crash crushing phones and all the simcards with power banks coming out alive, where on Earth has this happened?

The citizen has claimed that those who have worked with Walter at Illovo Sugar Company – Nchalo knows what type of a person he is.
He has assured Malawians that no one can buy Walter Nyamilandu Manda with whatever money one has claiming that Walter started putting on expensive clothes and shoes, driving expensive and first class vehicles long years ago.
” It is time wasting for one to think that he can bribe Walter Nyamilandu Manda to influence the outcome of the inquiry investigating circumstances surrounding the plane crash and the tragic killing of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, in the Chikangawa forest,” said the source.
The source has claimed that the road which was created to the plane crash site was made for the folk-lift to carry the wreckage of the plane but the big question should be who ordered men to dismantle the plane by breaking into pieces for easy carrying to Zomba Airbase?
