Malawi Airlines Flights Disrupted at KIA and Chileka Over Poor Visibility

Malawi Airlines has announced disruptions to flight operations at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) and Chileka International Airport due to adverse weather conditions and poor visibility.

The airline said passenger and crew safety remains its highest priority as the weather conditions continue to affect airport operations.

Malawi Airlines said it is working closely with relevant stakeholders at both airports, who are monitoring the situation and assessing when normal flight operations can safely resume.

The airline has apologised to passengers for any inconvenience and disruption caused by the situation.

Malawi Airlines said it remains committed to ensuring passengers reach their destinations safely once conditions allow normal operations to resume.
