NBS Bank Pledges More Investment in Digital Innovation

BLANTYRE, Malawi — NBS Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to investing in digital technology, youth development and community empowerment as part of its strategy to remain competitive while delivering lasting value to Malawians.

The commitment was made by the bank’s Head of Customer Experience, Sibusiso Nyasulu, after the second draw of the Kwakoma ndi NBS Bank Promotion held in Blantyre on Tuesday.

Speaking to journalists after the draw, Nyasulu said the bank remains focused on innovation and creating products and services that respond to the changing needs of customers.

“The bank will continue to innovate, we will continue to invest in the youth, and investing in the community that we thrive on,” Nyasulu said.

“We will continue to be ahead of times to make sure that we are contributing to the society we are operating in,” he said.

Nyasulu said digital transformation remains central to the bank’s long-term strategy, noting that investments in technology are helping improve customer experience by making banking services more accessible, convenient and efficient.

Beyond technology, he emphasized that empowering young people remains a key pillar of the bank’s corporate agenda, describing youth as critical drivers of Malawi’s future economic growth and innovation.

The Kwakoma ndi NBS Bank Promotion is one of the bank’s customer appreciation initiatives designed to reward clients while encouraging the use of the bank’s products and services. Through periodic prize draws, customers have an opportunity to win cash and other valuable prizes.
