NANKHUMWA THREATENS MUTHARIKA, SAYS WANTS HIM REPLACED AS LEADER OF OPPOSITION.
Democratic Progressive Party Vice President for the South Kondwani Nankhumwa has threatened he will drag to court the party’s President Peter Mutharika and others if they will go ahead with a party meeting in Mangochi today.
Nankhumwa says he has not been invited to the meeting further claiming that the meeting aims at unseating him as leader of opposition in parliament.
Nankhumwa through his lawyers argue that organizing and attending the meeting is in contempt of a court order which legitimized Nankhumwa’s decisions in parliament.
