Blue Eagles attacker Gaddie Chirwa has turned down Mighty Mukuru Wanderers’ offer to join the Blantyre based side.
This comes as reports were rife in town that Chirwa has been on the verge on joining the newly crowned Airtel top 8 champions.
Speaking to MIJ Online Solomon Mchawi, Vice General Secretary for Eagles says after asking Chirwa on his side of story, the star said he is not leaving the club as he is employed by the Malawi Police Services.
Mchawi added that Chirwa was supposed to resign first before joining Wanderers which did not happened.
This puts to rest a 24 hour long media reportage that Chirwa who has been one of the stars for the Area 30 side this season would be sealing a move to Blantyre.
