The UTM Party has officially expelled Michael Usi from its ranks. The announcement was made in a letter issued by the party’s Secretary General, Willet Karonga, who stated that the decision followed deliberations by the party’s senior governing committees.

The letter highlights that Usi was summoned to appear before the party’s disciplinary committee on Monday, but he failed to attend. This absence reportedly influenced the party’s decision to terminate his membership.

“This decision was reached after careful consideration and in accordance with the party’s regulations,” reads part of the letter released by the Secretary General.

The expulsion of Michael Usi marks a significant moment for the UTM Party as it continues to address internal matters and enforce discipline within its structures. The party has not disclosed further details about the reasons behind Usi’s removal or any potential implications for its political future.
