An online Television station –Bakili Muluzi TV, has alleged that USA President Donald Trump is not happy with President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s leadership in Malawi for supporting panga wielding thugs, rampant corruption and undermining democratic values.
Bakili Muluzi TV said the USA President has already warned the Government of Malawi to arrest these panga wielding thugs but the MCP government has defied the warning meaning that MCP is the one inciting political violence in Malawi.
He said in 2018, President Trump recognized four countries; Ghana, Kenya, Egypt and Malawi for his support and in Malawi, he promised to build 250 secondary schools across the country and this was during the reign of Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and his DPP.
The activist said President Trump has been awakened by what is happening in Kenya and Malawi where democracy is under-siege, some other politicians don’t want democracy in their countries and are throwing it to the dogs by not respecting human rights.
He said President Trump has taken out from the list of those to benefit from his support countries such as Malawi and Kenya leaving Senegal, Gabon, Mauritania, Ghana and Egypt speaking to itself that the country’s democracy has been thrown to the dogs.
Bakili Muluzi TV has reminded Malawians that Trump’s wife visited Malawi at the invitation of the Former First Lady Madam Getrude Mutharika saying the Trump administration had full support and trust to Professor Mutharika and his DPP than the MCP under President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
Writing on his face book page, President Donald Trump says through his ambassador to the Republic of Malawi Amy Diaz, he has accepted only one gift from one, so gentle, quiet and wise, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.
President Trump was reacting to good news that the USA Charge d’ Affairs Amy Diaz bid farewell to opposition party leaders in Malawi such as Professor Mutharika, Dr. Dalitso Kabambe and Dr. Joyce Banda at the end of her working visit to Malawi.
“I met opposition party leaders in Malawi to speak about the importance of democratic values and avoiding political violence, I stressed the need to maintain peace during the run-up to the 16th September, 2025,” reads the writings of Diaz on the wall.
Bakili Muluzi TV has assured the USA President Donald Trump that registered voters in Malawi are ready to vote out President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera on the 16th September, 2025 elections in the midst of MCP thugs threatening, hacking, terrorizing and intimidating them .
He has finally expressed trust that voting out President Chakwera will help to bring justice to the tragic death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others whose death has no answers till this day and panga wielding thugs to be arrested and prosecuted by legitimate laws of the country.
