Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Chief propagandist Dickson Kashoti, says the DPP knows how best to treat and take care party loyalists after winning an election.

Kashoti said the DPP is second to none when it comes to sharing the national cake with its party loyalists who remained with the party during the political stormy times when the party was exiled to Guantanamo Bay after the 2020 court sanctioned presidential election which unceremoniously kicked President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and his DPP out of government.

He said unexpectedly back at Capital Hill, the seat of government, the DPP is busy purging some top civil servants and public servants not aligned to the party, especially those in government companies, parastatals and organizations through demotion by redeployment and in worst scenario, firing them altogether just to make room for party loyalists to take over.

Writing on his face book page, Kashoti said President Professor Mutharika has all the powers to appoint family members and relatives from Goliati in Thyolo, friends, friends of friends, members and relatives of his church clerk etc as CEOs in parastatals or in top government positions but he has chosen to reward party loyalists who worked day in and day out to take government.

“This is how things should be. This is how political parties should treat party loyalists after winning an election,” reads Kashoti’s writings on the wall.

He has congratulated Mr. Kamlepo Kalua on his appointment as CEO for Umodzi Holdings and extend the congratulations to all those who have been appointed as CEOs in various parastatals.

A concerned citizen of Malawi Mrs. Elizabeth Kaliza Banda of Area 51 in Lilongwe, has thanked President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for starting recognizing foot soldiers in his appointments to various parastatals.

Kaliza Banda has expressed hope that Professor Mutharika will honor all genuine activists and journalists who worked courageously against MCP panga wielding thugs in support of him to change the mindset of people voting out the MCP and President Chakwera.

She has advised Dr. Samuel Lwara, Bon Kalindo, Bishop Kachenje, Pastor Moses Shumba, Comrade Ntanyiwa, Bakili Muluzi TV, Burnett Munthali, Suleman Chitera, Jones Gadama, and all others, never and ever to lose heart, Professor Mutharika will not forget them in his government.

” The appointment of Hon. Kamlepo Kalua is just the beginning, others will follow, continue to be loyal to the DPP and its leadership,” said Kaliza.
