ECG Jesus Nation Church founder Shepherd Bushiri has launched a project to reconstruct Namlenga Bridge in Mulanje District which was washed away as a result of Tropical Cyclone Freddy.
He says the total costs will be known after feasibility studies and identification of a contractor, a process which has already began.

Before launching the project, Bushiri inspected housing construction projects for Cyclone Freddy survivors where a number of houses have been completed for occupation.
Aside from that, he also distributed clothes to Cyclone Freddy survivors in the district.
Cyclone Freddy destroyed a lot of infrastructure and displaced thousands of people.
